[Mailing list for LPL Board of Directors]

I thought I had sent out a "welcome message" to everyone when the list was 
setup.  But just in case you did not get it,
the Board of Directors now has a mailing list to use for our internal 
communication.

This will save us the hassle of having to type each person's name or address 
in for every email.

Simply send an email to scc at lplouisiana.org and everyone on the Board will get 
the message.  Send your replies there and everyone will get that as well. 
(usually a simple "reply" button will do the job, but if you see a 
"reply-list" button, use that one)

Note, non-members cannot add themselves, and will not be added by me.  They 
also cannot post, or read any of our communications. (unless someone forwards 
it to them)

If you want to include the Executive Director in a discussion, you'll have to 
add her address separately, though I remind everyone, any directions or 
requests for her to take action should always go through the chair per our 
contract with her.

If anyone has any questions about using this system, please let me know.  But 
it really is as simple as sending a message to one email address, the list 
address, rather than 9 or 10 different individual addresses.  Replying is also 
just as easy and will always include everyone on the list.

Unless you have reason to do so otherwise, all Board communications should go 
through this list to make sure everyone is on the same page with all issues.
