[LPL Board of Directors] MOTION FROM THE CHAIR - Fundraiser position

I am voting nay on this. I simply know to little at this point to give a
full vote of confidence. I haven't met him and I don't feel comfortable
giving anyone a contract unless the Board has had a chance to sit down and
meet this person, as well as negotiate a contract. If I can still send out
fund-raising letters, why pay him 35% of the return on them for doing what
I can do for free? As far as Wendy not wanting to ask for money, she may
just have to get over that. At our current rate, $20,400 isn't that far
off what I think we can do. The return on this set of letters will tell me
more about whether we will have the financial support from our base to
continue with or without a fund-raiser.

In the mean time though, I am voting nay.
