I have no objections and I fully support this effort.

p.s. - maybe we can filter out those who are already donating and have 
recently signed up as paying members.  That way we are only hitting 
those that aren't already "current and active with valid address/contact 
info."

When I get home, I'll check the numbers and see exactly how many in our 
new list would be registered since 1/1/12.  Perhaps for a few more bucks 
we can complete the original cutoff that was discussed.  If it is too 
much more, we can leave the rest for later.  I would propose though, 
that to minimize "staleness" we work our way from 1/1/12 forward until 
we hit 1000.  That way, if we have to put some off for a few months, 
they won't be dropping further back in the pack, than had we worked from 
today backwards.

A hybrid/compromise of this would be to hit everyone who 
registered/switched since the November election, then hit the balance of 
1000 working from 1/1/12 forward.  That way we keep recent people from 
going stale, and begin the "catch-up" process from our target date.
