For clarity of purpose and clarity as to just who is being represented by
which group, regardless of precedent and regardless if allowed by state or
federal laws, I believe each must be held in the respective parish.

The situation has been resolved, but I'd still like everyone's opinion on
the issue for the future if you have one.

I think what settled the matter is that we aren't sure yet how holding a
combined caucus would look legally to the SoS and how that would affect
formal recognition of the PEC with the State.

I'm also going to have to look into the procedure for getting these PEC's
recognized since the State doesn't handle their elections.

As for the caucuses themselves, the details are being worked on right now,
and I will report back to you all when they are set, as well as get them
posted online.
