[LPL Board of Directors] MOTION FROM THE CHAIR - urgent - radio advertising

I vote Aye.
The spot seems to fit nicely into 30 seconds, so we
should be able to come in on the low end of the estimate ($165 if we run
once a day Wednesday-Friday). Having an extra 200-600 people from the
spot seems high to me, but that could be my small town thinking; you
have a lot more population density there, so it may be accurate.

My apologies for the short deadline of this vote. I generally do not
prefer to make such a request.

presence at the Ponchatoula Strawberry Festival this weekend. (to
encourage people to stop by, learn more, and sign up as members and
change voter registration to LP)

which have both been friendly to the LP. (I think Osterlind already
announced he is "libertarian" and endorsed Gary Johnson last fall) Their
audience is friendly to our message as well.

this will cost $165 for three 30 second spots, or as much as $450 for
six 60 second spots.

traffic at the LP booth at the festival by about 200 to even maybe 600

on the low end, and 18 to break even on the high end. That would at
worst be a 10% conversion rate, and at best, only 1%. I think either
number is achievable.

Now that we have 13 members on the Board, 7 will be needed for a quorum
and a majority of those voting required for passage.

to vote NAY, please also do that as soon as possible so we will know
quickly if this measure would fail.
