If the motion is still active, I vote yes.
My reason is simple, publicity is important in and of itself.
Anytime we can find the funds to put the party name out for the public to
see and associate it with some aspect of the philosophy of the party we gain
recognition and momentum.

Crowd estimates for 2010 were around 300,000 total.
I didn't see it as redundant. With a large festival, it's quite likely that
you won't get 100% of the traffic from the entire festival in your area.
What I saw these ads as doing, was not to get people to GO in the first
place, but to look for the booth since there's a good chance they'll already
be there.
People with booths at festivals advertise all the time to make sure they get
their desired traffic. Especially if you're a newcomer, people don't know
to look for you.
As well, the amount being considered for spending was small.
But, that's your call to withdraw when working via email. (such is not
generally allowed in a physical meeting)

On this matter..this is like advertising that we will be going door to door.
The Strawberry Festival itself is the advertisement. It attracts 500,000
people over the 3 days that it runs..its the largest festival in the state.
All we will be doing is spending our money to advertise for the Strawberry
Festival. Nobody is going the head to the Festival from New Orleans where
the show airs just to go to the Libertarian Party booth. Money would have
been better spent on professional literature with our contact information to
pass out at the Festival. David Mounts was prepared to buy some of this out
of his own pocket to the tune of about $700 but I think this suggestion has
him so frustrated that he has decided to not do so.
