The Bylaws amendments have to wait for a convention, but we can pass a
resolution asking the Bylaws committee to be formed down the road prior
to that convention, to take up such issues.
In the meantime we can pass a resolution expressing the sense of the
Board that such actionsare inappropriate and potentiallyinjurious to the
Board and the party Brand.
As for email rules, there are some in place informally already. The
problem was I did not get to pass them on to the new folks.
I will be sending them to everyone later tonight.
I think had everyone been more aware of those procedures, we would not
have seen the discord we saw the last few days.
As well, official rules have to wait for a convention. They are to be
handled by the same convention committee.
If we still want to discuss the present set of email procedures, we can
do so.
